Whitehall is a city located in Franklin County, Ohio, United States. The city covers an area of 5.2 square miles and has a population of around 18,000 people. Whitehall is situated within the Columbus metropolitan area, and it is located about 8 miles east of the downtown area of Columbus.

The area that is now Whitehall was originally inhabited by the Adena culture, followed by the Hopewell and Fort Ancient cultures. In the early 1800s, settlers began to arrive in the area, and the village of White Hall was established in 1947. The name "White Hall" was chosen because of the white farmhouse that served as a local landmark at the time.

In the post-World War II era, Whitehall experienced significant growth and development, with the construction of new homes and businesses. Today, Whitehall is a vibrant community with a diverse population and a range of amenities, including parks, shopping centers, and recreational facilities.
